I like Thailand.
From previous experience, I know the people are friendly, the infrastructure is efficient, the food is delicious,
travel is inexpensive (although not compared to India),
and there is much to see and do.
But I'm not staying. I leave tomorrow for Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
Maybe I'll return after a loop through South East Asia and China, but I don't know. I'm going with the flow...
